Description
The food safety management system is a guarantee of the food supply chain from upstream to downstream, or what is known in the blue economy as "from sea to table." This is considered important given that fishery commodities are perishable goods or products that are prone to spoilage and quality deterioration. To ensure the quality and safety of food, it is necessary to have quality assurance at every stage of the fishery commodity supply chain.
Harmonization of quality assurance and food safety systems for fishery products needs to be carried out through strengthening cooperation between the competent authorities of the importing countries and international engagement. This is a commitment to consistently, fairly, and transparently apply quality assurance, which can be achieved through intensive communication between producing and consuming countries in a reciprocal manner.

1. Strengthening partnerships and enhancing cooperation networks with the competent authorities ensuring the quality of marine and fishery products in export destination countries.
2. Developing a framework for collaboration to harmonize quality standards.
3. Enhancing the capacity of fishery business actors to implement quality management systems.
